AT&T Giving Away Free BlackBerry Curve 8130s, BlackJack IIs, HTC Tilts
AT&T is offering a PDA promotion beginning tonight and going through this Thursday, April 24th. Refurbished BlackBerry Curve 8310s, BlackJack IIs, and HTC Tilts will all be free while supplies last when you become an AT&T customer or extend your service with AT&T.
RIM's BlackBerry Curve 8310 model is very similar to the original 8300 model but it includes GPS with support for location based applications. It also includes a 2 megapixel camera, music player, stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, and memory card slot. The 8130 weighs 3.9 ounces and is 4.2" x 2.4" x 0.6".
The Samsung BlackJack II is an update of the original BlackJack with a better battery, larger display and increased memory. It has GPS functionality and a jog wheel, unlike the original. The device also features Windows Mobile 6, a full QWERTY keyboard, document viewer, music player, memory card slot, and stereo Bluetooth. The BlackJack II is 4.48" x 2.39" x 0.51" and weighs about 4.1 ounces. It also has a 2 megapixel camera.
The HTC Tilt is an update to the TyTN / 8525 that is thinner and has a tilt up screen, plus GPS, faster HSDPA data, more memory and a higher-res 3 megapixel auto-focus camera. It also features Windows Mobile Pro, stereo Bluetooth, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and Wi-Fi.

Little bit of a fix up for the post - it's the Blackberry Curve 8310, not the 8130. The 8130 is the CDMA Pearl "2" sold by Verizon and Sprint. I don't think AT&T will be giving away a cdma phone. :)
THIS IS A LIE!!! JUST CALLED AND AT&T, SAYS THAT THIS IS NOT TRUE. I even forwarded them the link to this article and they say NO WAY!! What does someone get out of spreading this lie? I had the AUDACITY of HOPE to hope it was true?
If it is a lie why do the links go to an AT&T page that shows all three phones costing $0.00?
ONLINE only and SOLD OUT. By the time my local office figured it out, that this was only an online price, they are gone. BUMMER
Oh yeah, I see "online package only" Looks like they still have blackberries and blackjacks. Figures the Tilt is sold out, it's the nicest one there.
Ordered mine on the 23rd, couldn't believe the $0... but it's true. T-Mobile contract ended 2 days before... great timing... thanks ATT!
They aren't all out of stock. The Blackberry Curve in red and black is still showing $0.00 for me.

Tilt appears to be in stock but isn't showing as $0.00. I bet they'd still give the $0.00 price if you pointed out their error.
