On June 20th Sprint will unleash the Samsung SCH-M800 Instinct to do battle with the new 3G iPhone. Winner of Best in Show and Mobile CE Smartphone at CTIA Wireless 2008 and Best Cell Phone CTIA from CNET, the sleek touch-screen Instinct is the latest of the potential "iPhone killers."

Sprint Samsung SCH-M800 Instinct

The Instinct is a CDMA EV-DO Rev A (800 MHz/1900MHz) phone that boasts a 3.1" TFT LCD 240x432 touch screen. It has a 2 megapixel camera that, unlike the current iPhone, is capable of video recording and streaming. It has a 2 GB MicroSD memory card upgradable to 8 GB and has Bluetooth 2.0. It comes with two standard lithium-ion batteries, each capable of delivering up to 5.75 hours of continuous talk time. The Instinct measures 4.57" x 2.17" x 0.49" and weighs 4.4 ounces.

The Instinct has GPS that will instantly point out hotels, ATMs, restaurants and a host of other services based on your location. It is also Live TV capable so you can watch TV wherever you have a signal.

The Instinct may not be available everywhere right away and no price has been set as of yet. The Instinct does, however, have to be activated on an Everything plan, which starts at $69.99. Existing Sprint customers will be able to switch to an Everything plan without extending their contracts.
