EOS Develops First Wireless, Multi-Room Stereo System for iPod
EOS Wireless' wireless speaker system has a docking port for iPods but also has and auxiliary jack for any other music source you might want. It comes with a base station transmitter that can support up to four wireless speakers at a range of 150 feet. The base station has a 2.1 stereo speaker system with two tweeters and a ported down firing subwoofer plus SRS WOW! digital sound enhancement technology. The base station uses a GigaWave® digital wireless audio transmitter with error correction.

The satellite speakers can receive up to 150 feet away and can be plugged directly into a wall socket and hang there, with no need for brackets. They also include a wired power supply in case you don't want the speaker hanging in the socket. This makes moving them around simple, just unplug them and move them to a new room. They also have a tough casing so they can be used outdoors as well.
MacLife gave the system a good review, noting that the high end sound quality was great. Their only complaint was that very deep bass was "muddy" and if prolonged could get rattly. Gizmodo also gave a glowing review.
The system (base station plus one satellite speaker) costs $249.99, but you can find it cheaper. Each additional speaker is $129.99. It comes with a one year warranty and a 30 day money back guarantee. It comes in either black or white.
