Android Market will be similar to YouTube, complete with a feedback and rating system. It also looks a bit like Apple's App Store. Developers will be able to display their content by registering as a merchant, uploading the content and describing it. The creators of Android market plan to provide developers with a dashboard and analytical tools to help them improve their content.

The first Android powered handsets will be enabled with a beta version of Android Market. Apparently Google has not yet finalized the product and decisions are still being made, but users can expect support for free applications right away. Soon after launch, when the product has been finalized, there will be an update that will support downloads of paid content and additional features including versioning, multiple device profile support and analytics.
