Sprint today introduced One Click, its new, simple and customizable interface. Three new devices that will use the One Click interface were also announced - the LG Lotus, the Samsung Highnote and the Samsung Rant.

The One Click interface allows customers to quickly access their favorite features on a carousel style menu, bringing the simplicity of navigation commonly found on high-end phones to the mid-range level. Customers will be able to personalize their device by selecting the features they want on their home screen and thus making the application accesible by a single click. One Click also allows the user to add shortcuts to favorite Internet sites to the home screen. One Click will soon be available on more Sprint phones, including Sanyo's Katana Eclipse later this Fall.

Sprint LG Lotus

The LG Lotus is a flip phone that features a full QWERTY keypad. It has a unique square shape and features a 2 megapixel camera. It will come with the typical Sprint features including texting, Web access, email, Sprint Navigation, Sprint TV, Sprint Music Store. The Lotus will be available exclusively through Sprint in October for $149.99 with a two year service agreement and will come in textured purple and satin black.

The Samsung Highnote has a dual slide design - it slides up for access to the keypad and it slides down to reveal stereo speakers. The device also features a 2 megapixel camera/camcorder, stereo Bluetooth, expandable memory up to 16GB. It will be available on October 19th for $99.99 with a two year service agreement and after a $50.00 mail in rebate. The device will be available in blue and red.

Sprint Samsung Rant

The Samsung Rant slides horizontally to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard and has Sprint Navigation, Sprint Music Store and Sprint TV. Like the Highnote it has a 2 megapixel camera/camcorder, stereo Bluetooth, expandable memory up to 16GB. It will also be available in October for $49.99 with a two year agreement and after a $50 mail in rebate. The device will be available in red and black, and Best Buy will offer it in purple as well.

Customers purchasing these phones will also be among the first to use Ready Now, an in store, one-on-one tutorial of their new device. Just announced yesterday, Ready Now, the first program of its type, will allow customers to know their phones inside out before they even leave the store.
