Nikon D90 Now Available, Shipping From Select Retailers
The highly anticipated Nikon D90 12.3 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera is now available for purchase through several retailers including Amazon, Adorama, B&H, Ritz and Calumet.

The D90 features a DX-format CMOS sensor with Nikon's EXPEED image processing technology. It has a 3 inch 920,000 dot color LCD monitor. The sensor also has built in cleaning which operates on four frequencies to clear dust particles from the sensor's filter. It is capable of up to 4.5 fps continuous shooting with .15ms power-up and split-second 65ms shooting lag. The D90 also features D-Movie Mode-Cinematic 24fps HD with sound, which allows you to record movie clips at up to 720p HD (1280 x 720 pixels) in Motion JPEG format. The camera has low noise ISO sensitivity from 200 to 3200 and an 11 point auto-focus system with face priority. The D90 features Nikon's 420-pixel RGB 3D Color Matrix Metering II along with the Scene Recognition System, which evaluates images, referencing an on-board database of over 30,000 photographic scenes, for improved exposure accuracy. There is also more exposure control, including Program Auto, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority and Manual plus five advanced scene modes. The Auto Active D-Lighting optimizes details within shadows and highlights.
The camera is 5.2" x 4.1" x 3" and weighs about 22 ounces. You can purchase the body only or the kit, which includes a 5.8x AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED lens. You can buy the D90 now from several retailers:
