Motorola's Z10 is a mobile film studio
Motorola introduced its latest phone, the MOTO Z10, at the CES today. The sleek, ergonomic design is fashioned from spun stainless steel with a polished metallic finish and features soft-feel textures. It has 3.5G HSDPA, GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Symbian/IUQ software, see the rest of the specs here. But the key feature of the Z10 is its ability to function as a virtual pocket sized film studio.

The phone is capable of capturing high quality video and editing it, adding scene transitions and even soundtracks. The videos can then, of course, be uploaded directly to YouTube, etc. The 3.2 megapixel camera launches in just 1.5 seconds and the burst mode can capture up to three images per second. There is also an auto-focus feature to keep the video sharp. As far as playback goes the Z10 has a 2.2" QVGA screen that displays video at 30 frames/second in millions of colors. The Z10 also features a storage slot that will support an external memory card with a 32 GB capacity. The Z10 is expected to be available in Q1 2008. Read more here.
