BlackBerry Bold on Sale at AT&T

RIM's new BlackBerry Bold is now on sale at AT&T for $299 with a two year contract and after a mail in rebate.

BlackBerry fans will not be disappointed with the newest incarnation of the smartphone. It has a brilliant 480 x 320 VGA 65K color TFT display and, like its predecessors, sports a full QWERTY keyboard. It features integrated aGPS and Wi-Fi (which requires a BlackBerry data rate plan). It has a 2 megapixel camera with 3x zoom. Like all BlackBerries, the Bold also features the renowned BlackBerry Push technology mobile email. It has 1 GB onboard storage and is expandable up to 32 GB. It operates on GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA (850/900/1900/21000 MHz). It also has Bluetooth 2.0 and comes with a USB cable for additional connectivity.

The BlackBerry Bold also comes with plenty of bells and whistles. It features voice dialing and voice commands. It is capable of conference calling and call forwarding. It features two browsers, a WAP browser and a full HTML browser. Its music player supports most formats and it has streaming radio, plus MusicID to identify the song you're listening to. The camera is also capable of video capture and playback. The battery is 1500 mAh and will provide up to 4.5 hours talk time and up to 13.5 days of standby.

The Bold is 4.49 x 2.57 x .59 inches and weighs about 4.8 ounces. It is available now through AT&T for $299 with a contract and rebate.
