Black Friday Price Slashing on Garmin GPS Units
TigerGPS is offering some serious deals on a few of their Garmin GPS navigation units beginning on Black Friday and going through the weekend to the first of December. These deals are really too good to be ignored, especially considering Garmin is the best of the best when it comes to GPS navigation, so without further ado, here they are:

The Garmin nuvi 755t is the perfect dashboard navigator and, with the new lane assist feature, a step ahead of the rest of the 705 series. Lane assist will make sure you are in the correct lane to get you to your destination, letting you avoid the sinking feeling watching your exit go by and disappear in your rear view mirror because you were five lanes away from it. The 755t also has turn-by-turn directions that it will call out to you as you approach turning points. Other features include a touchscreen interface, 3-D building view, photo navigation, route planning and emergency services locators, which really no driver should be without. Besides its navigational functions, the nuvi 755t also includes an MP3 player and an audio book player (which, thanks to its built-in FM transmitter, can be heard through your car's sound system). There are also a bunch of other useful tools in it, including unit and currency converters and a calculator. All these goodies and the $250 off the normal retail price of $549 (that's $299, almost 50% off!), plus the fact that it comes with traffic reports for life, prompted us to add this device to our Top 12 Black Friday/Cyber Monday Tech Deals of 2008.
Not quite as portable as, but definitely easier to see than the 755t is Garmin's Street Pilot 7500. The Street Pilot sports a 7-inch touch screen from which all functions are accessed. The only button on the device is the on/off button. It has all the features of the 755t and music can be easily added to its MP3 player via SD card. With an optional GXM 30 Smart Antenna, the Street Pilot can also receive XM Radio. The real kicker in this deal though is that it is just $399, which is a whopping $1200 off its list price of $1599!
The Garmin nuvi 250 also features a touchscreen interface, but at half the size of the Street Pilot. The 250 is your standard dashboard navigator without the bells and whistles of the previous two. It is your utilitarian gadget that will get you from point A to point B via turn-by-turn directions and inform you of the restaurants, hotels, gas stations, ATMs and other services along the way. Affordable to begin with at a retail price of $268, this weekend's deal takes more than half off and puts the Garmin 250 in your hands for just $129.
The Garmin nuvi 760 basically has all the features of the 755t except for lane assist. However, unlike the 755t, the nuvi 760 is equipped with a microphone, speaker and Bluetooth technology allowing you to make hands-free calls, knocking off yet another worry while you're on the road. It will be available for $249, half off its $499 retail value.
These sales are available immediately, run through Black Friday and will last until Monday, December 1st (providing supplies last). If you've been toying with the idea of purchasing a GPS navigation device, now is the time to make your move and take advantage of these deals.
