BlackBerry Storm on Sale at Verizon
RIM's answer to the iPhone, the BlackBerry Storm, is finally (actually for a week now) out and now on sale at Verizon.

If you have been holding off buying an iPhone, waiting for someone to match it in quality, now you have it. BlackBerries have long been the phone of choice for professionals due to the push email, but the iPhone was a game changer with its touch screen interface. RIM, albeit a year later, has finally answered with a touch ui of their own, and if you're familiar with BlackBerries you know it's quality.
The Storm has everything you expect in a BlackBerry so I'll just give you the quick rundown - it is a BlackBerry with a touchscreen. It has a forward facing (meaning it's pointing at you when you look at the screen) 3.2 megapixel camera for your video conferencing needs. It also has a feature called SurePress, which sets it apart from other touchscreens by adding a click sound when you press onscreen buttons. That may not sound like much but it is actually very useful... you don't always know if your taps have been registered with a silent interface, this gives you some feedback.
So if you are a BlackBerry person this is the obvious next step. Enough with the track ball and QWERTY, those days are over. They have a great track record so there's no reason to be skeptical, plus touchscreens don't bite. Verizon is now offering the BlackBerry Storm for $199 with a (you know the story) two year service agreement and $50 mail in rebate, so take advantage while it's still Black Friday.

Everyone has an answer to the iphone, why can't anyone invent something new? Cell phones have been out for over 20 years, and than Apple changed everything. Apple wasn't even in the cell phone business. These manufacturers need to quit following. If you want the best phone out there right now, buy the iphone, not a knockoff.
