Apple releases firmware 1.1.3 for iPhone
Apple announced today at MacWorld the release of firmware version 1.1.3 for the iPhone. The major new feature is the addition of gps to Google Maps. Actually cell towers will be used to triangulate your position rather than satellites. You simply open maps and hit the target button to triangulate

your position. Once you have been located you can use the eyeball button to drop a pin on your location then drag it to a destination on the map and get directions. 1.1.3 can also display the hybrid map view and real-time traffic information.
Another nice feature 1.1.3 brings to the table is the ability to add bookmarks to your home screen. This is done simply by hitting the plus button while you are on the page you want to add and hitting "add bookmark." A bookmark will appear on your home screen and you can title it whatever you want. Once the bookmark is there you can move it around to anywhere you want (along with any other icon) on your home screen, another feature of 1.1.3. Finally, and it's about time, 1.1.3 allows you to text multiple contacts.
