Alltel Introduces LG Tritan 3G Touchscreen Messager
Alltel Wireless and LG Electronics today announced the latest addition to Alltel's lineup of messaging devices, the LG AX840 Tritan.
The Tritan offers both an advanced touch-screen interface on a 3" screen and a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out sideways, for those who like the feel of real keys. The touchscreen provides a full internet browser plus a virtual keypad for easy dialing, but the Tritan is also equipped with voice recognition for voice activated dialing. The Tritan also sports a 3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth and an expandable microSD slot and operates on Alltel's speedy 3G network. It also comes with a hands-free headset.

The Tritan is available now at Alltel retail stores and online for $99.99 after a $100 mail in rebate. This price is only available to customers who sign up for a one year Smart-Choice Pak service agreement, which starts as low as $69.99 per month. This gives you unlimited data, email and web access as well as free use of pre-loaded apps including My-Cast Weather, Alltel Navigation, nuTsie, Alltel TV on Demand Connect, Alltel Radio Connect and Alltel E-mail.
