Samsung will soon be releasing its second firmware update of the month for its P2 Blue Wave. There are quite a few new features that nicen up the UI and provide more functionality.

Samsung P2 Blue Wave firmware update

For starters the icons have been redesigned to more stylish, 3D icons. You can now navigate your music by flipping through album covers that have the cover artwork or navigate via a list. There are improved EQ controls and there is a new feature, A<-->B, which allows you to tag two points in a song and loop the audio between the tags. You can also adjust the speed of audio play. Another new feature allows you to record from the FM radio.

The video player and photo viewer have been updated as well. You can now double tap 320x240 videos to make them wide-screen or full-screen (480x272) which is a really nice feature. On the pic viewer you can now rotate pics with gestures and zoom by double tapping. You can do the same on the text viewer.

Several games have also been added to kill your time, including Bubble Smile, World Car Puzzle, Pow Wow, Runaway and Subway.

The file browser has been updated to allow you to delete MP3s directly, rather than doing it via your computer, which really makes it less of a hassle. They have also added an alarm clock. The update should be available any day now.
