Nokia announces N95 successor - N96
Today at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Nokia unveiled their high-end N96. The N96 has 16 GB internal storage compared to the N95's 8GB plus a microSD slot. The 2.8" 240 x 320 QVGA LCD TFT display offers high quality video while the built in 3D speakers serve up premium sound.

The N96 boasts a 5.0 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss Optics Tessar lens. It has a dual LED camera flash plus a video light for video capture in MPEG-4 up to VGA at 30 fps. Other features include auto-focus, auto-exposure and digital video stabilization. The 16 gigs allows for up to 40 hours of video.
The N96 can also receive live TV (DVB-H) and stereo FM radio. The phone is equipped with a GPS receiver with support for assisted GPS (A-GPS) plus Nokia Maps.
The N96 operates at WCDMA2100/900 (HSDPA) / EGSM900, GSM850/1800/1900 MHz and should be available in Q3 2008 for €550 or about $800 USD.
