Since the unveiling of Sony Ericsson's Experia X1 at the Mobile World Congress last week people have been speculating about its operating system. Most figured it must be running on Windows Mobile 6 Professional OS, but this couldn't be verified since members of the press were not allowed to touch the device. Sony Ericsson was very tight-lipped about the hardware as well.

Recently, however, the Hungarian website terminal.hu acquired some live, hands on photos of the device that are quite revealing. The photos clearly show the Experia X1 running on Windows Mobile 6.1 which, as of yet, remains unannounced. The photos also answer some hardware questions - it uses a 520 MHz CPU alongside a Qualcomm 7200 chipset, has 128 MB RAM and a 1500 mAh battery.
