iPad Launch to be Delayed Up to a Month?
A recent article on the iPad blog, The iPad Guide, details the contents of a recent letter to investors from Canaccord Adams analyst Peter Misek which reports that the launch of the Apple iPad will be either delayed up to a full month or limited to the United States only. Though unconfirmed, the letter from Misek warns investors that Apple may have less than a third of the 1 million unit iPad inventory it has announced it would have come the March iPad release date.

LG Announces Next Generation Chocolate
LG Electronics has announced the successor to the company's most popular phone ever, the LG Chocolate. It is expected to be unveiled some time in August.

The highly anticipated Palm Pre's official release date and pricing has finally been announced. New iPhone Specs Leaked
It looks like some of the next generation iPhone's specs are beginning to show up around the web. Macrumors has apparently been monitoring the Chinese forum Weiphone and has found something of note - a screenshot and a list of some features and specs.

Verizon Wireless and Samsung today announced the availability of Samsung's Alias 2 text messaging phone. It replaces the original Alias and has a nifty new keypad powered by E- Ink that the original did not have.

Samsung Unveils Android-Powered I7500
Despite rumors that Samsung's Android device production would be delayed until late 2009, the South Korean company yesterday introduced its first Android powered device, the I7500, which according to JK Shin, Executive Vice President and Head of Mobile Communication Division in Samsung Electronics," is "most innovative Android mobile phone." It will be the third Android powered device on the market, after the HTC Magic and the T-Mobile G1.

Bluetooth SIG Adopts 3.0 +HS as New Standard, Broadcom Combo Chip First to Qualify
The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) yesterday officialy adopted the Bluetooth 3.0+HS (high speed) specification. The Bluetooth 3.0 +HS spec will allow devices that have both Bluetooth 3.0 +HS and Wi-Fi to pair via Bluetooth and transfer data via Wi-Fi at rates up to 24 Mbps, which is about 10 times faster than the previous incarnation, Bluetooth v2.1 +EDR (enhanced data rate). This will allow users to transfer large amounts of data wirelessly. The new spec also addresses power control issues to reduce battery drain.
