Alltel Wireless and LG Electronics today announced the latest addition to Alltel's lineup of messaging devices, the LG AX840 Tritan.

The Tritan offers both an advanced touch-screen interface on a 3" screen and a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out sideways, for those who like the feel of real keys. The touchscreen provides a full internet browser plus a virtual keypad for easy dialing, but the Tritan is also equipped with voice recognition for voice activated dialing.
