Quickfire
AT&T Quickfire Now Available
AT&T's new phone, the Quickfire, is now available (online or in AT&T stores) just in time for the holidays. Made by Personal Communications Devices (PCD), the phone is designed specifically with messaging in mind, though it has plenty of other features one would want in a phone and is very simple to use. According to Mark Collins, vice president of Voice and Data Services for AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, "The AT&T Quickfire is perfect for texting fans who let their thumbs do the talking and want the benefit of a full keypad but don't need corporate e-mail access or other business features."
The Quickfire features a large 2.8", 240 x 320 interactive touch screen. The screen slides over to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard for fast messaging. It is a 3G phone (850/1900/2100 MHz) as well as GSM/GPRS (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). It also has Bluetooth connectivity (1.2). The Quickfire has a 1.3
